This will take us up till the end of the
season where there a a couple of
festivals (7s and 10s) to be comfirmed
As it stands we have 17 players in the
squad all from Deben high school year 9
and 8, I hope to be able to recruit some
players from Orwell soon.
Next season there are talks between
clubs to maybe form a league for this
age group. STOWEMARKET, HADLIEGH,
HARWICH, HAVERHILL, WOODBRIDGE,
FELIXSTOWE, IPSWICH, COLCHESTER, BURY &
NEWMARKET have all teams for this age
group so local fixtures should be easy
to find and other teams such as WITHAM,
DISS, WINDHAM, LOWESTOFT & SWAFFHAM have
also shown an interest in playing us
next season.
Alfie is doing a great job with the
Minis, and with 2 recruited coaches and
others helping the minis section have
around 30 kids. This year we have
managed to field an Under 8s team and
Under 10s, and next year we will look to
field an Under 8s, 10s and 12s. This is
all down to the efforts off David Alford
and Tracey Hawes.

are also Three Festivals 30th
March, 20th and 27th
April and we hope to attend 2 of these
which will be decided within the next
few weeks.
Other things going on included a group
of Under 17s and 16s that we hope will
form an under 18s next season
